Default Blue Devil Radiator stop leak

Hi!

I have a 2001 XJ with a radiator leak, and we used the Blue Devil sealant in it. I've heard that some people have issues with it after it's been used. Has anyone here ever used it, and what were your results? Thanks!

Clogging up the heater core is the biggest risk. You should replace the radiator and flush the entire system really, really well, ASAP... Sealant products should only be used in an absolute emergency.

.........a lot easier to replace than the heater core.

Well, if you already used it ....it's done. Let us know if it fixed the radiator leak.

Eventually you might want to drain/flush the system... use distilled water in the new coolant.
