Blew up my '96 xj tonight on the highway on my way home. Threw a rod out the side of the block. Just looking for a little guidance as to what motor to look for to replace it. What a good price to pay for one would be, etc. Advice is greatly appreciated.

 

Depends you can get a junk yard motor for cheap get a new block or get a full blown full crate motor depends on what you want to do
