My blower motor started blowing fuses today. I can put a new one in, cycle it through all the speeds while on max/ac and everything is fine. Leave it on max and start driving and the fuse blows. Its obviously drawing to much current, any ideas why? Is there a voltage regulator for this circuit?
I searched through the forum and found similar posts but there were not many responses to them.
Thanks for the help!

Mine used to do the same thing.. In the middle of winter of course. I changed the blower motor resistor and that solved it for me. The speed selector switch seems to be another problem area that I would look at; they like to melt out.
