oh and another question.....rough country or rusty's? there around the same price but what is better? i was gonna get one of these 2 because they have full 4.5 inch leaf packs and not drop shackles so that way i could add a 1 inch block or shackle to get a bit more height

Blocks are cheaper but shackles will help your ride.

From my research Rustys is more expensive when you add the freight. As for quality no idea, what I get from the forums is about a 50/50 split.

i have not looked at either one, however you want one with bracing on it. Also, i have heard that chevy lowering shackles are a good lift shackle as well. Several have run them on here.

I personally use Tera-Flex.. 1/4" steel with bracing and zerk fittings.

My opinion would be to go with the RC lift that's what i'm currently running and i love it, another plus is they have great customer service. Rusty's on the other hand their shipping is pricey and i'm not a fan of their customer service, when my friend ordered shackles for his CJ from them they kept sendin him in circles about where his stuff actually was it took them well over a month almost 2 to actually get his stuff.

Never ever ever ever use lift blocks!!!! They're extremely unsafe if they crack and can cause terrible axle warp!!!

They make them specifically for the XJ. I got them from a jeep only JY for $45 for the spacers and shackles i will get you a link!

here:

you can probably find them cheaper tho Quadratec is a bit pricy in my opinion
