Default Blinker/turn signals not working.

Hey so I've got a 96 xj sport, the turn signals and hazards both stopped working, bulbs still light up fine when i turn on the headlights. Checked the flashers, came back fine, replaced anyway, nothing, replaced the turn signal switch and all bulbs, still nothing. Double checked fuses, nothing.
I'm hoping there is something that I've forgotten to check, and was hoping for some recommendations before I go through and trace the wires, or if that is all i can do where do the wires go from the switch? Directly to the flashers (mine uses the separate red/blue multi relay) I'm assuming the most likely spot is between those two, since I get absolutely nothing.

Maybe someone can weigh in more here as I have a '00 but have you checked the relay? the two times my blinkers were acting funny it was the relay. For me it is behind the plastic/metal around the steering column. i can't remember if it was a little below the switch or even lower towards the bottom.

While you're in there don't forget to check your blinker fluid

Are you talking about one of these here? I replaced both the red/blue, and they didn't solve anything, tested them and they still worked. If there's another I'm not sure that I've seen it, i'll dig around directly under and see if there's anything there though.

Edit: I have located a delay relay that apparently delays my headlight off when i turn the car off. It's been dead since before i owned it though and likely not the issue, that's connected to the wiring that appears to go from the switch to the flasher box. I'm not seeing anything directly under the steering wheel, but i'll be able to take it apart more fully tomorrow. (only so much i can do on a 10 at work lol.)

Ok, in case any others have a similar issue, check the switch/flasher relay, for this you either have the one pictured here, which will be on the inside of the dash to the right of the steering wheel (straight back from the gas pedal) or two round normal flashers in the fuse box to the left. there are 2 15 amp fuses in the under hood fuse box that may play a part, and one fuse in the cabin fuse box (i think fuse 8 iirc) If none of this works, check the wiring from the driver side side marker up, then the front left turn signal/dlr up. then make rounds to all the other bulbs, chances are the fault will be close to the bulb. mine was both the front left side marker and strangely enough the headlight on that side.

I spoke before doing said repair, the lights on that side are brighter, the connection improved, but hazards/brake lights/turn signals still do not work..

Here's everything I've tried:

replacing flashers; blue/red.
Replacing turn signal switch.
Replaced every bulb
Replaced headlight connectors/side marker connectors
Rebuilt the wiring harness at the main connector.
pigtail guessing it has to be the wires, either main power to the relay, or a ground.

If anyone has a wiring guide for the relay box it may help to know what goes to where.

I have this setup, and this unholy mess is the wires. No idea what does what in here or where to start for continuity testing..
