I bought a 93 Cherokee today and while driving I noticed the right blinker isn't working. The arrow lights on the dash but doesn't blink. It doesn't light up on the headlight or tail light. My right headlight is also out. The left side is fine. I don't know anything about cars and neither did the guy I bought it from.

A familiar story, you're definitely not the first Jeep owner to have this happen. Is it your intention to fix it yourself or did you just want to let us know what's going on?
I was thinking about it, I wasn't sure if I should even bother with new bulbs. Switching them out is something I can do myself so I will give it a try tomorrow.

If it might be something as simple as new bulbs I can do it myself but I wasn't sure if it would even be worth the hassle. I'll be getting new bulbs tomorrow to see if it helps.
I've discovered that the blinker socket in the tail light is completely rotted out. I'm having the hardest time finding replacement sockets. I've been to everywhere local I can think of. I've found some online but I'm not sure, I don't want to end up with a junk part. Can someone point me in the right direction to what I should buy?

The Napa auto parts local to me has the same bulb socket on their shelf sold as a universal light socket. Just cut, strip, and crimp on a new one. Very simple just gotta get the wires matched right.
If you get a solid lit arrow that doesn't blink, the cause is probably the flasher relay, which is absolutely the easiest thing in the world to fix. It's an $8 part at any Autozone. Pull out the old one on the bottom left corner of your fuse panel under the dash, and plug the new one in.
