Black Water From Exhaust?
2000 Jeep Cherokee
4.0 L
well this morning i was doing a checkup on my jeep, checking things here and there ya know. i start it and let it run for a minute or so, then did what i was doing, after i finished that i started walking around the jeep and noticed the water that dripped from the exhaust looked really dark, so i rubbing my finger inside the exhaust and it came out like pitch fricken black. it didnt smell like oil or anything. so i was thinking of seafoaming the engine to see if that fixes it, like maybe the motor is really dirty inside or something? but money is tight so i wanted to see what you guys have to say first. also, will seafoaming help ,me get better mpg? i only get about 12-14 with 30" tires. thanks in advance guys.

Seafoam has good results, unless you have a tired old engine. But I agree, when you get on the interstate, hammer down and let her rev a bit, if you follow people going up steep hills like we have around here. You can see when they downshift and you can smell it.
