I put the solids on mine... they both have lifetime warranties, your not going to break either. The solid brand is cheaper.

solid doesn't sell a 8.25 tho that's the only issue i have

that doesn't mean i cant buy the solid d30 and the ruff stuff 8.25. thats why i am asking, i also just wanted to test out the poll feature never have

I think it's pretty self explanitory, myself. If he can't get the solid for the rear, then the other is the only option.(out of the 2 he listed) Now, if you can get both for the front, then my question doesn't count for that.

IIRC Ruff Stuff makes their covers out of 3/8" plate. Very stout covers IMO.
