why is everyone so afraid of trimming?

my shop truck has 31 with a 3.5" lift. we had to trim a little. you would be looking at 4.5" lift if you are scared of trimming

3" should be fine with very minimal trimming.

what a naive answer. you obviously have not looked around lately. there are nice rigs that have the fenders trimmed.

i have, and i still stand by what i said. while it may look good in some peoples eyes, the look is not for everyone.

i personally like the trimmed look. but i have enough common sense to know that not everyone agrees with it. you should get some to.

Well for all who think 3.5 is what you need I have 2 inches and fit 31's without any trimming. I've been driving it like that for the past year and I've wheeled the crap out of it to.the only thing that has rubbed is the rear of the flare and all i did was heat it up and push it back and no more rubbing, that was after I was going through whoops at like 25 to 30 mph.

you can fit what ever sized tire you want. 2-3" lift is perfect but the think that gets everyone is that noone bumpstops correctly.. It only takes about an hour and only $20 in supplies if that.

Hey guys I appreciate all the replies!!! i am not afraid of trimming as I stated "minimal trimming" but I like the body lines of my jeep and its pretty clean so I want to keep it that way as long as possible... if it gets "kissed" while out on the trail then so be it, but I dont wanna hack it intentionaly...

Can I just add spacers on top of the coils, longer shocks, and AAL in rear?? just wondering what the best bolt in for 2 or 3 inches is....

And does anybody know how long and wide the rear leafs are?? looking for donar packs...

thanks again for all the help
