Default Best Rotors

Hey guys,

I need new rotors for my stock cherokee. I don't want to spend alot but I want to get good ones. My limit would be about 130. Was wondering what you guys think are the best for the amount spent.

Thanks,
David

rotors are rotors really, you could go slotted but i ran those and saw no difference really. you could spend your money on a good set of pads

2X rotors are rotors

I have been using the house brand rotors from OReilly auto for 5 years and and they are fine.

yep, go to autozone, get the 1 year vs the same brand lifetime and they are usually the same rotors, just different warranty. Get good pads, staying away from ceramics. Best would be EBC green stuff.

they don't grab well on heavier vehicles iirc. the ebc green stuff is highly thought of. I used them on a monte carlo years ago, benefits of the ceramics as in, quiet, low dust, but great stopping.

I would not buy cheap Chinese crap.
If you can find Wagnor in your town go that route. American (or Candaian) made quality rotos that will not warp/crack and will last forever.

I got the slotted rotors and ceramic brakes from summit for $130 on sale and they work 100% better than the stock ones IMHO...Tj
