So you're done. Get a new sensor. Check the resistance of the new sensor to insure your testing procedure is correct.

Just ordered a mopar sensor. When it gets here I'll test the resistance. How can I test that the fan actually turns on though? It's gonna be tough to get the coolant up to >220f now that summer is over.

Test the resistance first. If you feel the need to confirm, often just sitting idling in traffic will trigger the fan. I suppose you could force overheat, but why risk it.

And with his time of 1:35:03 in the quarter, given my best time in the 5K I could beat that charger running.
