Are you saying you're having drivability issues? If so, detail the specific symptoms you're experiencing. I don't think you're saying the wires blew off the car again.

i'm saying in gear it struggles, in neutral it struggles on revving, sadly she does not have a rpm gauge, which is silly being a manual tranny. i checked the oil which is a bit low actually, and on level ground I definitely have 3/4 tank and at 20 mpg usually I shouldn't be that low (5 gallons) after only really driving that night maybe 20 miles after filling her up, plus the other day I did put a gallon or so in .. a leaky injector would explain the lean plugs per cruiser.. the wetness on the driver side on the night in question, the oil smelling like gas I suppose.. all this work we did though she was parked facing slightly downhill as my driveway does have some level of grade going to the street but not real steep. this fuel thing would be in line with previous issues... not wanting to go well in 4th gear especially on a hill, and that day being sluggish at best the whole time. SInce I moved her up to the garage, and can be somewhat out of the rain, I will start her in a bit and see if I can see anything get wet again. I did take some pics of the injectors, however.. I have to find better placement for my phone, but it does look like a bunch of grime around injector 3, I think it was cyl 3 that had the 114 compression..
amazon asked me what tranny is in it when I went looking for an oil filter.. so that caused me pause and will likely investigate that later..

I'm going to suggest that your no star issue is resolved. If you are having a power issue, or sluggishness, or whatever you want to call it, for posterity, the correct thing to do will be to start a new thread with the proper title of the problem to resolve. This thread is 230 posts long already and about a no start condition.

hey... you asked lol I figured we were good when she was back to our point of say the half hour or so before she quit on the expressway...

I will start a new post when I'm ready.. I just have to figure out where.. like if I do need new injectors and decide to upgrade those (4 hole vs 12), do I do it here or go to the mod section? or should I just make a build thread lol

You should stay on the stock XJ forum unless you decide to build a crawler or something exotic.
