I bought a Southwire meter from Lowes last year. It was literally worse than my Harbor Freight meter! It died within a few days, and I took it back.

I love, Lowes, but I won't touch another Southwire product.

 

$59.98 at Lowe's.. I might hafta get one.

 

At that price point and being able to data log. I'd say it's worth a try.

The only caveat, the app seems to be iPhone only.

Check out the data sheet for the 16040T, it says it works. I bet the the two meters described in the apps description were the flagship releases. Then they came out with a budget meter and never updated the app description.

Yep, make sure you throw a review up. If that Bluetooth feature is as good as it looks. I'm getting one for my tool chest. I can put my Fluke waggin' aside. Ha

 

So far, so good. Great value. Connected via Bluetooth right away.

When it failed I opened it up to see if it were simply a fuse. Utter crap. You know it's bad when the HF cheapo looks good next to it.
