so far my 2 favorite mods, not even close to cheap, are gears and lockers, and a winch. the winch has saved my butt many times already, and the lockers have helped me get through everything i have tried. from deep gooey mud to super rocky conditions

the best mod for most is upgrading the turdy five, although mine has given me no trouble. I have minor engine mods that let me get 22mpg and still let me do this.

1st. mod. Replaced crappy stereo, Now has 1' tweeters in dash, 5.25's in front doors, 6x9's in rear hatch, 10" sub in rear pocket. A 1400 watt 5-channel amp. powering the speakers. A Pioneer DEH-90 HHD head unit, controls everything by remote. from driver seat. 2nd. mod. Replaced the sagging headliner, (Along with overhead console) Back to factory look. Fixed compass/temp.module. 3rd. mod. Replace the yellow headlights. With a HID H4 5000k (hyper white) conversion........................................ ...................... Upcoming mods. Repainted in a couple of weeks. (Sticking with factory Silver).....Buffing out factory alloy rims. with a coat of clear over. (they look good buffed to a shine)........Then a 2.5 Old Man Emu suspension system. Leafs & shocks need to be replaced anyways. And mostly used as DD. That's what I did already, and future plans.
