What is the best brand to use when replacing parts...I.E. things like the MAP sensor or TPS? I know Chevy's only like AC Delco parts.

I've had good luck with Std. Motor Products, but you're likely to hear a lot of Mopar and they wouldn't be wrong. Mopar is just more expensive...
My NSS was made by Crown, an OEM supplier; most every other part I've ever replaced was Mopar OEM. It is RARE that I use anything but OEM spec.
I recently found it difficult to shell out $70 for a new Mopar TPS, which was being swapped out as a 152k maintenance item. However, considering that the OEM part lasted 13 years and was still working fine made that purchase easier.
You can cheap out on a lot of things, and they may work out just fine. My experience with the automotive afermarket is dismal, and it is getting worse. I don't like spending every weekend of my life working on a car; I want my Jeep to be "rock-solid reliable" to the point of being boring, so I go with OEM whenever I can. It still runs and drives like brand-spankin' new, so I must be doing something right.

Yep. If you're going to cheap out, do it with the parts that are easy to change (TPS- yes, CPS- no) and keep a working spare in the glovebox.

I buy plenty of aftermarket parts for my XJ, but in general, I buy MOPAR engine managment sensors directly from Jeep.
Well worth the extra money in reliability AND longevity.
An exception would be oxygen sensors, where you can purchase NTK aftermarket sensors cheaper than the dealer, and you're getting the same sensor.
