I'd buy a brand new one today but I just don't have that kind of cash to blow right now.

Nice, if you do end up with an optima, you could run the interstate as a secondary for accessories on a isolator.

Sounds like a great idea but I would have no idea how to hook this up? Sure I could find a write up and figure it out but were would I put the battery I wouldn't want it inside the cab. Maybe the interstate under the hood and the optima in the cab since it's sealed and all??

Costco batteries my friends got 2 in is 97 power stroke and theyve lasted 5 years and still going good

Basically this cuts your starting battery out of the system unless the vehicle is running. But charges both when it is running. So a deep cycle would be best for the accesory battery. Next to the diy headlight harness upgrade.
