Bes way to repair this.....
brutal but honest. The problem with rust is what you see is often the tip of the iceberg. Maybe it can be repaired but I'll bet a shop would charge thousands to fix it. I own a welder and have done rust repairs/restorations but that looks so bad I would not want to tackle it. Sorry.
