if you tested the starter and it spun the gear ,whjen its in the truck and try to jump from bigpost of starter to small post of starter and motor is not turning over some thing is wrong in the gear on starter or flex plate !!!!!

if the starter is kicking in and turning but the motors not gear stripped on shaft ? im not able to see but from wha youve said thats all thats left
