I am one of the few lucky suckers that have this lousy brake set up. No power booster under the master cylinder but power anti lock brakes.
My brakes are hard especially right after start up and don't do that great of a job at stopping anytime. I have looked at all of the pads, hoses, fluid level etc and everything seems fine. The motor and pump under where my coolant tank used to be runs all of the time and never shuts off. From the little I have been able to find on this it is supposed to shut off when the right pressure is reached.

It looks like it is capable of 3000lbs of system pressure! Got to be real careful no matter what I do with it
I would love to pull the whole system out and put in a regular old fashioned power brakes setup with the booster on the firewall.
Any help out there PLEASE?
I have finally got the Jeep titled and tagged and want it to have a lot better brakes. My daughter is starting college at Appalachian and she might need the Jeep up there this winter.
