Default bench seat in a cherokee

Thinking about switching my driver and passenger seat in my 94 2 door with the bench out of a manche has anyone done this or know if it will fit to the cherokee seat mounts? Any input is helpful thanks

Hmmm this is an interesting idea. Would love to see some photos of this being done.

I lack Fab skills so if its not a direct bolt I think I'll be s.o.l. unless I gorrila glue and duct tape it down lol and it'll take getting used to no center console

It definitely won't be bolt it, but I doubt it would be that hard. Just gotta get creative

It will fit, use your existing cherokee bases and use the slider from the comanche. There are rivets holding the slider/bases together so you will have to drill/torch em and then re-rivet them together. The console will have to be swaped out aswell and the handbrake is gonna have to come out. Just swap int he foot brake from a comanche while your at it and itll all work jsut dandy.

FYI you will probably lose a lil bit of headroom, so if your a tall guy I wouldnt suggest doing this. Im just wondering whats your reason for wanting a bench seat? Cute girlfriend? haha

I would really like to see how that would work out. I don't think that it would be that hard with a little imagination. I think it would look pretty cool. Post some picts if you do it.

IIRC they do slide forward and fold to a certain point. Only issue with it is that you have to pull on both tabs for the seat to slide and fold. The one on passenger and driver side.

You might be able to drill and bolt something on. I looked into doing this swap as well, everything *should* fit from an MJ.
