@ the Black- Thanks, but yours looked awesome. Made me decide to bedline months ago. Ended up doing the whole front section because the lund visor needed painted, and ill be damned if you thought I was going to try to match paint color... lol.

@Zacks98- Does the tire shine really work? If so, that is a great bit of advise for everyone who bedlines at all. Awesome, and thanks for that tip.

I herculined my lower panels since I was getting some rust on the corners. It seems to have stopped it after I sanded it down and primed it. It looks good too, gives the Jeep a little more color I plan on herculining the roof next since my rattle can job is chipping up there from hauling stuff.

Nope. Just really scuff up the paint good. Then give it a wash and rub it down with rubbing alcohol.

(This is why some of us... prefer the bedlining, as it is so easy.)

If you are removing trim and such, make sure to clean off all the adhesive, same for emblems. After sanding, be sure to wipe down with alcohol, and enjoy. It took me less than a day to do my whole jeep, so it is quick as well. It's fun. Good luck, and post pics.

I personally spray SEM Rock-it, best stuff I have ever used besides paying an arm and a leg for Line-X. at $200 a gallon its kinda steep but as I said its the best I have found. They have kits and you can spray it on with just an air compressor some news paper and blue painters tape. Take about 2 gallon to do an entire XJ bumpers and roof included but at $400 in coating that is the same as what Line-X charges to do a bed. Had a guy from MD price to have his whole MJ done in Line-X and it was around a $1000.

You need denatured alcohol, you can buy it at any hardware store.
Rubbing alcohol has conditioners in it so it wont wreck your skin.

I have seen a bunch of liners like duPont, Al's, etc... Stuff in a can really is just paint with some texture in it, but it's been beefed up with polyurethane.

I think spray-lining is inexpensive and well worth it. It's a higher quality three part (polyhybrid with aggregate). Way better than monstaliner, durabak, herculiner, etc.). They have a lot of guys doing their jeep bodies cause it's less expensive than most, but works great.

The clear is a product very few can compete with. 100 mils of clear.... what!!
