Battery Problems

Ok so I don't know if this is a battery problem but this morning my battery light came on, worked fine, after school went to go start it and it didn't work and the battery is only a year old. Had someone jump it still didn't start so idk what the hell the problem is!

1. Load test your battery. Even new batteries can fail; happens more than you think. Load testing is the only accurate way of testing a battery.
2. Test your charging system. A battery is only going to work if it is being charged properly. With a meter, a healthy charging system and battery should read around 13.5 to 14.0 volts. Or any parts store can test your charging system too when they test your battery.
