Battery is new bt constantly going flat.
Gday everyone I'm a newbie to the jeep scene and this site. I bought 2 xj Cherokee' s 2 months ago a 94 and 95 I love them lol bt i did have a big list of stuff to fix ive worked it down bt my new battery is going flat when I go out every morning its flat. Should I swap the alternator over.. I'm about to go looking for a bad earth wire. What else can I do to track down this problem any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou

It's much too soon to start buying parts.
First, test the alternator. Fire up the engine, and put a voltmeter on your battery. You should see about 13.8 volts. If it's less, it's not charging correctly.

Next, find out if something is draining it. Remove the negative terminal from the battery, measure current flow from the negative (earth) battery lead to the negative battery post.

Check that out and let us know what you find out.

Un hook your neg. battery cable and hook in a 12V test light in series. If the light lights with key off you have a draw. Start unplugging until you kill the light, alt is a good place to start. Make sure your dome light is off.
Yea I'm thinking it might just be the nss for a few reasons, I spent a hour or so trying to cut those cable ties off to get the wires down bt im thinking I might just wait till the motor and box is out of the 95 first to make it easier. We already replaced it once after putting a new tranny in it so atleast that wont be as hard to put back on the 94. I've never been to good with mechanics and I'm still rather young bt it seems as though I'm better to learn how to fix the problems myself, as I'm the only 1 who seems to want it done properly lol bt its getting there.

You got that right!
And as far as being young and not knowing much, hey, we all started there. We are all ignorant, just about different things. The only problem is that some people choose to remain ignorant, and some are even proud of it.
You, on the other hand, are on the right track.
Keep asking questions, and you'll keep learning.
