Battery Drain
1989 cherokee pioneer 4.0 automatic.
I've pulled out every fuse that I know of and its still drawing current.I've tried disconnecting the alternator. I've had the battery tested its good. You can see a spark when you go to connect the positive cable.
What else could it be?

If you have pulled every fuse and it still does it that narows it down to the cable from the batterey to the fuse box. I THINK

replace every conection between battery and fuse box (upgrade to 4 gage) replace down to starter also. Im 98 percent sure that will solve (unless your battery is bad)

If its a problem with the wires to the fuse box wouldn't it be a huge power drain? Mines not that big I can leave the battery connected while I'm at work and after eight hours it starts up. Its just like something on that shouldn't be on.

The hood light has never worked. I could try unhooking it I guess to make sure it doesn't turn on when I shut the hood. I have an after market cd player. It turns off when I turn the key off though. I have no amp or speakers. Could it be the starter?

You could consider buying one of these:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/UNI-T-UT203-AC-D...item3a57c00451
At $36 including shipping, it might save you a lot of grief.
With a 40A DC current range – it should be able to measure down to 0.1A, allowing you to trace the wire through which the current is flowing. Cheaper current clamps are available – but importantly this one measures DC current (via the clamp), meaning that you don’t need to disconnect wires.
