There are two leads off of the battery anode - one to the starter motor, one to the PDC. The PDC may be smaller in gage, but don't go too small (OEM starter motor lead is 8AWG, and the PDC lead is, I think, 10AWG. I wouldn't go any smaller than 10AWG - the PDC is your main distro lead, y'know...)
Why are you replacing your positive battery cable? Corrosion? If your positive cable is in need of replacement, the rest are probably not far behind...
A number of people have installed my kits and said they're rather better than anything they've found at the parts house (since I use larger wire, unleaded battery clamps, and everything is properly sealed at both ends...) so you may want to consider it yourself. Link in sig, and hit me backchannel if you have any questions!

Okay, I hate to bring this thread back from the dead but I have not gotten any hits in the ask a question thread.
I am having a connection issue with my XJ 96. I need to replace the positive battery cable and am not having any luck finding one that I canjust buy. Unless this will work? http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...135_0343126350
I don't think that part is a direct swap but any input would be awesome. ANybody know of where I can buy a direct replacement? Or mak emy own? I'm not too handy but I am starting to grow on the built not bought mentality

Seems pretty good with me. A few questions though, I'm going to send him an e-mail today but would you guys know if all of the cables are good To go once I get them? Or am I going to have to put the terminals on there myself?
Also, can anybody help clarify one of the options he included? The very last option for 96xj is 1-6 which are all the previous cables, but then it also says it includes two fuses and k-anl?, what are these options and why is it worth 50+ dollars? I'm looking into the 4 aug right now.

The clamps aren't included in the kit (I don't know what you want or need, and some people use marine batteries with binding posts inbuilt,) but they are available. I do my best to make sure that you have everything you need when you open the box.

Sorry i meant that the cables themselves come with brass ends. But 5-90 also sells brass battery terminals. Those are separate though (and can be bought at any auto parts store). He is definitely a good guy though and has top of the line customer service
