Default Battery cable upgrade

Does anyone know if 5-90 is still making the kits? Is there anyone else that makes these? Looking to replace it all along with the alt with a zj one. Any info is greatly appreciated. On a side note thinking about doing a headlight harness upgrade as well. Easy to make or better to buy a kit? Thanks.

i believe he is still making the kits, it all depends on how skilled you are. I did my own cables buying what I needed from Oreilly's for about $35.00. I did the headlight harness kit upgrade. I bought a kit(36-3580) from LMC truck$29.95-(about $40.00 shipped). I did my own cables because I added a little to each cable length to give myself better working room. I did 4 cherokees learning something new each time. both are good upgrades I would highly recommend.

Yes, I am! (Was it you that PM'd me?)

As far as a headlamp harness, I'm working on that as well - I'm trying to get mine out of Development Hell (been clobbered with medical expenses of late, and I'd really like to get my headlamp harness going. Designing it for a spec load of 200W/filament, which exceeds pretty much any bulb out there or upcoming that I've heard of...) but it won't be no forty bucks shipped (sorry. But, the word "overbuilt" does get thrown around describing my stuff...)

Click the link in my sig for more info, and feel free to email me if you don't find what you want to know on the site!
