Bathroom scale maxes out
Is there a way to weigh my rig? Or does anyone know the approximate weight of a 1987 2.5L 4Cylinder XJ?

I have gone down to the local metal scrap yard. Drive in and ask the gentlemen in the booth if he would weigh your jeep. 
You could also bring some old scrap metal in the back and they will weigh you before and after. They will also give you a dollar for your scrap.

we go to a local quary when there closed lol the scale is right out front and we just peek in the window at the computor screen for the scale , but those ones are only acurate with 20-40 pounds

ON your title is your rigs empty weight. I guess then you could use bathroom scale to weigh contents. As stated above.. most stone and concrete places have scales... a quick call and a promise of some grub ussually works. Lots of trucks stops have certified scales that cost 10 bucks to use.
