Default Ball jpints ?

Have a set of ball joints for my wj. Well the motor blew up and I need new ball joints for my xj. Does anybody know if the ball joints for the wj are the same as the xj. They both have a d30 front rear

Search part number, but Im sure theyre identical. The zj tierod swap is very popular.

Cannot speak for any other grand cherokee (wj's for instance)

No, they are not identical. The lowers are different.

The OP asked about Balljoints, not Tie-Rods or TRE's.

Ok, so I confirmed my suspicions as did "seriousoffroad." I assumed since certain suspension components are commonly swapped amongst certain jeeps, so too would the ball joints.

However..

The upper ball joints you have will work as replacements.
The lowers have a different taper apparently, not the same as the XJ and will not work

Wrangler JK & Grand Cherokee WJ use the same ball joints. My mistake
