Default Ball joint/alignment question

The question I have is related the front axle which has 1 degree of camber exactly on the passenger side. If i buy a 1 degree offset balljoint for the upper will i need to get a 1 degree offset joint for the bottom I would think so but i just need some extra input on this from someone with ball joint experience.

The ball joint im lookin at.

I'm no wizard here but have never heard of such a thing. A ball joint by narure isn't going to notice a degree. By axle do you mean steering knuckle?
Maybe I should get ready for a surprise, but sounds like you may have gotten some suspicious info....

They do make offset ball joints to adjust camber. They change the angle of the steering knuckle.

I would opt for adjustable control arms.

Your castor is probably off. When the castor is correct the camber should be correct. I guess if you aren't getting bump steer oh could go ahead and just put those ball joints in.

well my camber is off when my wheels are straight, so caster probably isnt the issue.

Camber is built in to the axle. It changes with the castor.

You will only need the one offset ball joint.

This.

Get adjustable arms and fix your caster... camber should take care of itself.
