How in the name of the good lord, does one get the Harmonic Balancer torqued down, by ones good self??? A speedy helpful response is urgently welcomed!!!!

Naw, he's trying to get the crank to stop rotating. So, old school way:
1. Remove (1) sparkplug doesn't matter which one lets yank #3.
2. Turn the crank until cylinder #3 is @ BDC.
3. Feed a length of rope through the sparkplug hole.
4. Rotate crank piston will move up compressing the rope on it's way, once the rope is compressed the piston stops, set your torque.
5. A quick snap of a rachet in the oppisite direction lets you remove the rope.
