Replaced the belt, ordered the gator back. It's still squealing. But it just doesn't sound like it's coming from the belt. Sounds like it's near the distributor cap or the area right before the heater control valve.

Get one of these at Harbor Freight for under $5. Report back your findings.

Warm up engine util the noise starts. Remove the Serp belt and restart. Run for a few minutes. If the noise is still there it is either your distributor or flex plate. If it stops, you have isolated down to just a few components left not new in the front of the engine. The bracket that holds the fan clutch has a bearing, and of course the power steering pump. My bet is the distributor. Remove the cap and see if you have any side to side play in the shaft. Hope this helps

Did you miss this ?........
Took the belt off and checked all the pulleys. Everything checks out fine. Got her running without the belt, no noise yet but there also wasn't any noise once I loosened the belt. Now look at this belt, it looks great but I'm checking to see where to buy the GY belts.

Actually the whole distributor. Remove the cap and grab the shaft to see if it moves any from side to side. Cheap way to check if it is the distributor is to swap one out of the junk yard. Mine went bad and I would of bet money the squeal was coming from the front of the engine. Replaced it and no noise and runs better...

This thread is too long for my liking so I haven't read all 800 posts. But does the noise go away when running the engine without the belt?
If so, think Fan bearing in the AC Compressor adaptor.

^ That would work better than a piece of garden hose attached to a conch shell that goes to my ear. Jeep makes the sound of the ocean when I listen this way. Wonder what it could be?
