Let it idle with the rad cap off, keeping the rad full while idling. When air/coolant "burp" out of the rad, put a new rad cap on. For next several days, check coolant level in both the radiator and bottle, motor COLD.

Yeah thats what ive been doing, im guessing the guage just must be wrong
