Thanks for the inspiration!!!

We need to coin a few more handy phrases like that for emphasizing the need to LOOK and INVOLVE yourself in YOUR Jeep's diagnosis and repairs.

Luckily I found out real quick when I started to maintain and repair my own equipment that no one knows them or values them more than me. If at all possible it's best to do it yourself so you know what you end up with.

Yes. You use your God given senses to maintain/repair that equipment and you learn along the way.

But then again I've met quite a few people over the yrs whose vehicles would be better off if the hoods were welded shut.

I much prefer contacting the spirit world. A tried and true method is to get a group of like-minded folks together, hold hands in a circle around the vehicle, and sign Kum-ba-ya.
Yes, that works about as well as the usual method.

You may have seen that one in action, Cruiser. Here's how it works -

Ask a question on a forum (It's best if you leave out important details), find other people who have no clue how things actually work, but had a problem that sounds like yours, buy lots of parts, cuss at it when expensive parts don't fix the problem.

Then you have a choice - either pay a professional to fix it, or, repeat the first step a few times.

It works even better if you grovel like a whipped puppy in your thread title, or at least in your post.

"Car won't start PLEASE help!"

Sound familiar?

(I know a forum that bans the use of the word, "Help" in the subject line, unless you are stranded by the road and need help. It really does make for a better forum.)
