Default backspacing?

what backspacing are you guys using with a 15x10 inch rim? how can i measure to see how much my cherokee is actully lifted? the guy i bought it off of says it has a 5" lift but i want to make sure before i try to fit 33's on it. it got 31's on it now and it rubs alittle when iturn while it is flexing bad.

No matter what width rim you are running. You want one with 4" or 3.75" back spacing. Any more than 4 and your tires will rub your leaf springs and Lower Control Arms. This is also based on a 11.50 to 12.50 wide tire. If your tires are wider then you'll want even less back spacing.

i really dont plan on going any wider than a 12.50. my jeep is a daily driver and i really dont want to trim the fenders eathier. so it would be better for me to go with a 3.75 back spacing with a 12.5" tire?

Yes, 3.75" back spacing will work great for your 12.50 wide tires. Should still keep your tires tucked in good enough to keep the cops of your A$$ even with stock fender flares, too.

i believe the stock measurement from hub to bottom of fender on your jeep is 17.5 front and 17 rear so if its say 20.5 and 20 on yours you would have a 3" lift

the rims on my jeep are 17x9 should i just put a 33x12.5 tire on it since it's a daily driver and it will give me more stability than a 15 inch rim?

Or would a 15X10 inch rim be better?
