took the ax15 out of an 89, mine is a 88, i posted the other day about the crossmember not lineing up, thanx for all the replies, i did not see them till today, the back set of holes worked and all i had to do is cut the passenger side stud that was sticking out in the middle of where it mounts, everything else worked with the trans mount out of the 89 donor vehicle, oh and also i had to get the bracket that attaches to the body for the transfercase linkage as the one that i had did not line up, this has been quite a marathon getting this one ready to go, things done in the last 2 and a half weeks,.....ax tranny swap, new clutch, new 23spline transfercase, 5 inch lift, 31x10.50's, leather seats out of a 89 xj limited, headliner and carpet removal with the rustoleum roll on line-x on the floor, lots more to do, will have to post some pics 88whtxj
