Default Axle Seal Replacement...which part?

So I need to replace my front axle seal in my 90 Cherokee. It originally had the vac disconnect but the PO replaced the axle shaft with a one piece so I'm not sure what axle seals I should purchase, the ones with vacu discconnect or without?

Edit: Axle is a D30, figure I will repleace both sides

If the outer (P/S) seal can actually accommodate a one-piece shaft I'd go that route. Extra oil capacity is a good thing.

Salad I just saw this post of yours:

So for mine do you think I need items #23, 24, 26?

I'm no expert on this, but don't you need to use the seal in the diff housing like was intended for the one piece axle? I doubt the one piece axle has a machined surface for the old cAD type to ride on it.

Cruiser's right. For some reason I was thinking of a vac bypass mod when I typed that (not actually a one-piece shaft). The driver's side seal is the correct one. My phone apparently doesn't feel like displaying that diagram. Omix-Ada 165.3602, National/Timken 710068, or SKF 11899 are alternate part numbers.

If you're doing a rebuild sure, why not? My plastic dust shield things were fine.

Thanks for all the help so It looks like
Amazon.com: Timken 710068 Seal: Automotive Amazon.com: Timken 710068 Seal: Automotive
will work for the passenger side if I understand this correctly and then I'll just order the driver side one I already linked below with the dust shields as well just in case, right?

Ahhh okay cool so I'll just go with Timken one I listed. Thank you soooo much for helping me with this!!!!

Edit:
So what axle shaft do you think the PO replaced the two piece one with? Is there any way to figure out? This is my original thread I started when I was going to bypass the vac disco but found out that it was a one piece https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/cad...ed-fix-175364/

No problem! For actually changing the seals I bought a socket that fits both sides of them, adapters since it was 3/4" drive, and a pile of 3/8" extensions. Stuck the contraption down the axle tubes and went at it with a rubber mallet. I figure I can use the extensions when my CPS goes out anyway hehehe
