Axle cleaning
Alright so I was doing some wheeling a while back and I went around a corner and this dirt wall just jumped in front of me (I think it was suicidal). At any rate, I hit it and screwed up my axle. I bent the little bracket on the the axle, Im having a brain fart and forgot the name) I got a new one welded on, but my buddy thinks the oil seals got heated up too much during the welding and are bad so they need to be replaced. In order to get to them though I have to clean out my axle. Has anyone ever done this or know any tricks? I don't want to get unk up in my diff.

im asuming you bent a control arm bracket , and if you need to weld a new one its really no where near the axel seal so i dont see heat by welding messing your axel seal up , but pull your wheel , hub and axel , and make a little scraper but long enough to reach inside, usually justa peice of metal bent on a 90 degree at the end and you scrape it out , drag the mud and gunk out of the axel houseing , but to replace the seal you need to pull the diff apart and the gears out
