98 Limited with upcountry.

Been looking at it for about an hour I think its a 35?

on the 8.25 the ring gear relief is flat on the bottom on the 35 it dips...hard to see in the picture I know, 100% certain its an 8.25? You'll make me happy if you say it is.

Post up another pic - from directly behind the axle - so you can see the diff cover, harder to tell on my phone but looks like it... You'll have better ring gear and a 29 spline axle if so

Don't worry about it till you want to put 33's on it. Ignore the fact that you even have a rear diff. Lift it, put big tires on, wheel it, wheel it, wheel it, then change diff and wheel harder.

Bugger, mine looks quite similar, after using other thread identification pics, I thought mine was a 8.25. So, please, help me out here: is mine a 35 or the 8.25?

I have an 8.25 and it looks just like that. 97 Up Country with factory limited slip.

you see the flat spot on the bottom of the diff.. thats how you tell its a 8.25. The OP's d35 doesnt have that
