aw4 stuck in 3rd
88 Jeep Cherokee Xj 4.0 Aw4. When I Put The Jeep In Drive It Starts out In 3Rd Gear And Stays Unless You Manually Shift It Into 1-2. Any Ideas?

That's what happens when the solenoids aren't operating. Check to see there's power to your TCU. Under the dash, passenger's side. There's a fuse taped in the harness there.
If all looks good there check the wiring from the TCU down to the transmission.
