Default AW4 Fluid Change

Hey guys,

Curious if anyone has any info on changing tranny fluid on an aw4. I have heard mixed thoughts. Some say leave the fluid alone, changing it will mess with the tranny it's "used to" the specific fluid. Others have said change it. I'm definitely leaning towards changing the fluid and filter but wanted to get some input before I do.

Thanks as always.

I vote change the fluid along with the filter, it's like give or take $25.......like the dentist says, u don't have to brush all your teeth, just the ones u want to keep. LOL

Be sure that the filter fits, i got a new filter and the "tap" on the picture was a litle to short, not possible to see that its to short, but it made the transmission slipp. I changed back to my old filter and solved the problem. You can feel it if its to short when you press the filter on place and try to move it to the sides.
