Exclamation AW4 Auto transmission "Better gasket"

Vehicle info:
1999 Cherokee XJ sport
4x4
4.0 lr 6 cyl
AW4 auto trans
242 TC

Runs great shifts great.
General note: Trans Pan was square when I straight edged it last summer

Last summer noticed drip under the Jeep as the car sat for a week or during my daughter college break I noticed the wet spot getting worse. Upon inspection the back bolts were dripping and all the transmission bolt were a little loose but barely. Cleaned the whole cross member and pan off snugged the bolts up looked like that was it.

Wrong two days later it worse off to auto part the only gasket is a thin piece of crap feel pro gasket. Dropped pan cleaned pan surprising for 176k fluid only slightly dirty and very little metal on magnet. Hour later new gasket some permatex snugged up no leaks brings us to almost on year later summer it's happening again bolts loose dripping mess yada yada.

Ok it's time again almost to the day same thing rearing head she's on break its sitting.

Does anyone know out there if they actually make a fel pro or equivalent thick "permanent torque style gasket for this AW4 trans. And if the bolt loosen up so easy on these should a use star lock washers, blue loc-Tite 242, plumbers tape for bolts.

Is this a Jeep thing because I never had this with my ford or Chevy pans.

I going to be dropping the pan in a day or two or three weather permitting I got the cheesy feel pro again. So a better gasket and where to get would be great to know from the veteran jeep members.

Thanks ahead of time....

Had this issue... Blue loctite on the bolts. Also, if the pan bolts have ever been over torqued, they will "bend" the trans pan inward at each bolt hole location thus causing an uneven surface which leads to sealing problems

Might be time for a new pan?
