aux jack/aux wire splice
Has anyone wired in an aux wire to the back of there head unit?
I heard about marine doing this in Humvee's and i would rather splice in a wire and solder it in, instead of paying 100$ for one
any help would be awesome
the cheaper the better

$5 roll of 12ga wire with a $2 inline fuse. Run it from the battery through the firewall to the head unit. Who wants to charge you $100 for 15mins of work and $7 in materials? ...am I missing something??
Maybe I'm in the wrong business!..

Pull your head unit out and look to see if it has input jacks(most do), if it does, just go down to wally world and get the right adapter cord for 6-7 bucks. If it doesn't have any input jacks, just get a new stereo, because you'll need to get wire diagrams of the stereo to figure out where to splice in and even then it might not work.
