Default AUX. Fan. Cycles when cold.

My aux. fan keeps cycling on and off when I fist start my jeep. AC. does the same. Have the AC off. Whats causes this?

Where is the dash selector switch set?....there are 5 positions that engage the compressor (efan on) and 2 that don't.

My bad! Didn't know it was suppose to cyscle on defrost or heat when cold. Truned off and started it and no aux.fan OPPS Thanks!!
