Anyone know the name of the little plastic piece that sits inside the automatic shifter rod? Pull the handle off and there is another piece that can be lifted out of the assembly that actuates the shifter to move. I.E. you push the button on the shifter and it pushes this plastic piece down the shaft. I want to use a ZJ shifter (T handle) in my XJ and the one I had obtained is broken at the top. Help anyone?

BleepinJeep (username on YouTube) has an entertaining and informative video about this on his channel. Just search something like "custom shift *** bleepin jeep" and you should e able to find out. Good luck

Umm try quadratec for OEM parts or maybe Rockauto.com. If not junkyard is your best bet. Try grand Cherokee shifter too. Watch his video again to see how the mechanism works. Also try some new things you can always undo it. Cheers!

Yeah this is a shifter handle from a GC, part on it's way. Man that GC T handle shifter is nice. It's just teasing me...
