Default APN Header cracked...

As title states I have an APN header installed on my 98 jeep cherokee and now 9-11 months later it has cracked at the collector. I am sure they will warranty it out. I was wondering since I dented it in on the 6th pipe to be able to run the 99+ intake ( which I took off) do you all still think they will warranty it out with the dent? Or should I just try an see if I can weld it up? I have not taken it off yet to inspect further but plan on it this weekend. I did replace the motor mounts and tranny mount when I installed the header. Thanks guys just let me know.

I would be surprised if they did warranty it after you "modified" the one tube. How are the exhaust hangers? Bad or missing hangers can cause headers to crack.

Only problem I have with hangers is one is solid. The back one is missing the metal tab so I just clamped the exhaust to the rubber piece. which makes it not able to move much at all.

I would talk to them first see if they will cover it or not before anything,If they cover it ship it back if not weld up the crack in it and make sure you drill a hole in the ends of the crack to stop it from growing later.

Well I just got off the phone with a man named Steve with customer service and they are going to replace it. Has anyone done the thing where you pay for a new one and get your money back when they recieve your old one? Have you had any problems with this?
