Default Anyone know what this is?

Was doing some work under my xj and noticed this plug but can't find anything it goes to and have never noticed it before. Any help identifying is appreciated. Not sure how else to find out.

O2 sensor has 4 wires on his model. Square plug.

Correct my bad. Hmm I know I have a hanging plug down in the same area but I believe it's for my oil sending. Unit..

I'm thinking there's an option or accessory that you DON'T have, if you had it, that plugged up hole would have something attached to it, or something running through it.

I asked about the OHC cause it almost looks like the temp sensor

I'm gonna have to say oil sending unit or some kajigger of that sort, I know I have one too but its plugged up to something, ill take a peek under her when I'm out if class

I'm on my phone so the pic is small, are they wires or plastic tubes? Almost looks like the vacuum lines for the 4x4 actuator on the front diff.

They are wires that look like they should plug into something under the engine and over the axle. Sorry it's so small (shoulder issue so couldn't get my arm any closer). Wanna search this but I don't even know where to start

Oil sender is on the other side of the engine.

Zooming in, they look like vacuum lines of some sort. There are no round barrel type connectors on my 90, (that I remember). Also the lines "have such graceful curves"
