Was doing some work under my xj and noticed this plug but can't find anything it goes to and have never noticed it before. Any help identifying is appreciated. Not sure how else to find out.

I'm thinking there's an option or accessory that you DON'T have, if you had it, that plugged up hole would have something attached to it, or something running through it.

They are wires that look like they should plug into something under the engine and over the axle. Sorry it's so small (shoulder issue so couldn't get my arm any closer). Wanna search this but I don't even know where to start

Zooming in, they look like vacuum lines of some sort. There are no round barrel type connectors on my 90, (that I remember). Also the lines "have such graceful curves"
