Sorry, I'm with Stud on this one!! There is a reason that the lights are red....it's so they can be SEEN!! IMHO, it should be illegal!! I admit it looks cool, but it creates a dangerous situation at times!!

x2 what COS and Stud said. It creates a situation that could be dangerous and more so at night. One thing to consider as well if you get rear ended many insurance companies will not pay out since you create a situation that restricts the visibility of drivers to see your brakes lights properly.

Smoked lights can look good. And if your local laws allow it should be alright, I would get brighter bulbs installed tho. Some might say it defeats the purpose, but during the day I think the smoked look is better.

Think on this: a film of dirt too thin to see on a headlight cuts light output by 33%
How much is that tint going to cut your light's visibility to others?
Another thing: window tint. In 89 I nearly hit a car that pulled out in front of me. I had my brights on (68 Plymouth Fury III, stacked quad headlights all sealed beam halogens) and laid on the horn. I had to lockup the brakes to stop in time.
Missed them by a couple feet.
It had limo tint on all windows except windshield. IMHO, all dark tints should be illegal on ALL cars including limos.

Do you want to cause an accident? You could real easy, you know.
