Default Anyone ever use this? B-12 Chemtool

I seen this product at wal-mart the other day. I was buying a can of Sea Foam and noticed this one. Its much cheaper. Same can, lid, and everything. Thought maybe there could be a chance its made by the same company or something. I know that happens a lot. A company makes 3 different bottles to put the same cleaner in and sells each one at a different price. lol. It says it does the same things as Sea Foam. Its just under $3. And Sea Foam was a little under $9. So this product would be great if it was similar or the same as sea foam. I buy sea foam often and throw it in the tanks of the Xj and my Geo metro. Every few tanks. Never the same...just when I get around to buying it. Any thoughts on this? Anyone use it? I do use sea foam through the vacuum line to clean the carbon out. So I would probably still buy it for that. But does this other can work well? Any info would be great.

P.S. I work at a Toyota shop and always take home unused BG fuel cleaners as well. So I use that a good bit. But thats only when I get it for free....

I've used it and it seemed less effective at cleaning intake manifold residue vs Seafoam. Also doesn't give that 10 minute smoke show

Thanks for the info. At least I know it works. I was just hoping that it would work in the gas tank just as well as sea foam. I plan on buying sea foam still for the crank case and vacuum line for the smoke show. But I buy it so often that it would be nice to have a cheaper but effective alternative.

Think its AZ or Advance has Seafoam for 7.99 a can --bought 4 last week for 5.99 at the local guy. His prices are usually high but guess that was a good week.

I've used B-12 for over 20 years as a fuel system cleaner everytime I bought a used car. The only downside I've ever seen was if the tank was really varnished up you could clog up a fuel filter with all the crap coming out.

Seafoam is Isopropyl Alcohol, Light Oil, and Naphtha. Not all that interesting and I dont see it doing much good...
B12 is Xylene, Hydrocarbon Solvents, Ethyl Benzene, and N-Propanol. This seems like it would be a much better "cleaner" for your fuel system/injectors, but I would also not let it sit for long as pretty much every ingredient will harm rubber. Something you would throw in a 1/4 tank, drive to almost empty, then fill up...

Well I am sold on using the B12 now for my fuel cleaner. I drive a lot so I go through my tank of gas in both vehicles quickly. I usually put a bottle in at the pump right before I fill up. I have done that for years on all my cars. Although I bet it would work better with less gas in the tank. I was always concerned that it could do damage if it wasn't mixed with enough gas. Thanks for the info.
