I am wanting to upgrade my cooling system, and so far I have already swapped the water pump, gotten a new all metal 2 row rad, and bought new t-stat, t-stat housing, rad hoses, coolant temp sensor, and rad cap. Now I wanna upgrade my fans. I'm not sure I want to do the mech fan to e-fan swap, so I considered upgrading the mech fan with a new one from flex-a-lite. I also want to buy a new after market fan to replace the stock electric fan. My questions are:
Has anyone done this? I so, comments, parts names and brands, and pics would be awesome.
Does anyone know the sizes of both fans?
Anyone know what the stock electric fan cfm rating is?

go get yourself a 2 speed ford tarus fan. (they have 3 wires coming from the fan instead of 2) They pull nearly 4000 cfm and the jeep only needs 3000 cfm per fan. It fits perfectly into the Mechanical fan- fan shroud. From the JY it should only be like $40

Sounds good, with 3 wires, how would you wire it to get it working properly?

so since low speed comes on at 218, have the high speed come on at like 220 haha. that way it NEVER will overheat

you can wire it up to two different temp switches and relayz, the low speed to your factory wiring, the high speed to a new relay and temp switch. The high speed takes a bigger fuse too.
