Oil Leaks
Hey all, this is a great forum and I've learned tons from reading on here. This is my first post and my question is... I've replaced my valve cover gasket (felpro), my oil filter adapter o-rings and now all I have left is the rear main. My question is, on my 2001, do I have to lower my front axle in order to get the oil pan off? In my searches, I think I've read that you do. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Yes you do. If you have a lift it will help also.
If not you may need to disconnect the shocks. (from what i hear)
Waiting till it starts to get warm out again before I do mine.

I dont have a lift on mine either. As long as you have jack stands to support the jeep on both sides and a jack and can disconnect the shocks you should have enough room.
